This is the first time that ASCS has been held in mainland China — a significant milestone for China's cosmetic industry, and a testament to its growing research capabilities and market development. Yet the significance of ASCS, as the most influential academic conference in Asia's cosmetic science community, lies not merely in the host city, but in building a broader cross-border academic exchange platform where ideas and discoveries flow freely. As our theme, "Beauty Science Has No Boundaries," reflects our core idea that the progress in beauty science thrives on openness, diversity, and collaboration — breaking through the limits of geography and language, co-creating the future of cosmetic science.
